Kristin McSwain Named Director of AmeriCorps*State and National

Kristin McSwain, member of the GreenLight Fund's Selection Advisory Council and Board Member of Friends of the Children-Boston, was named Director of AmeriCorps*State and National on June 14th. AmeriCorps is a national program that engages Americans in service to meet community needs. After spending her entire professional career in national and community service, most recently as CEO of the Massachusetts Service Alliance, Kristin assumes this position at a time of heightened interest in service and volunteering. While she will be based in Washington, D.C., Kristin will continue to serve on the GreenLight Fund’s Selection Advisory Council.
