The GreenLight Fund identifies innovative, results-oriented nonprofit programs around the country that show great potential to meet critical local needs and replicates them in Boston. Our goal is to bring proven, high-impact nonprofits to the Boston area and build them into successful, sustainable efforts that dramatically improve the lives of low-income children and families. Five years in, the GreenLight Gala highlighted the four organizations GreenLight has helped bring to the Boston area, reporting on their progress and impact to date.

Net proceeds benefitted these organizations to ensure that they can continue to thrive and maximize their impact. For more information on future GreenLight events, please contact Melanie Damsker at 617.252.2815 or at mdamsker@greenlightfund.org

RAR provides simple, ongoing training and rotation of children’s books to young families in communities where the need is great so these children can be on a level playing field when they start school.
